This Privacy Policy explains how Libella (“the app”, “we”, “us”), developed by Zoran Gojkovic - FENIX, handles information when you use the app. Libella is a measuring toolkit that provides a bubble level, a camera angle meter, and an augmented‑reality (AR) distance ruler.
In short: Libella does not collect, store, or share any personal information, and it has no user accounts.
1. Information we do not collect
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, or any other personal or identifying information. Libella does not include third‑party advertising and does not sell any data.
2. Camera
The Angle and Ruler tools use your device camera to display a live view so you can measure on top of it. The camera feed is processed on your device, in real time, only while the tool is open.
- Images and video from the camera are not saved, uploaded, or shared.
- The camera is used only for live measurement and is released when you leave the tool.
- You can revoke the camera permission at any time in your device settings.
3. Motion & position sensors
The Level and tilt features read your device’s motion sensors (such as the accelerometer / gravity sensor) to calculate angles. This data is used only on your device, in real time, and is never stored or transmitted.
4. Augmented reality (ARCore)
The AR Ruler uses Google Play Services for AR (ARCore) to understand the space in front of the camera. This processing happens on your device to render measurements. Your use of ARCore is also subject to Google’s policies. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
5. Purchases (Google Play Billing)
Libella offers an optional one‑time “Pro” unlock. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Google processes your transaction and provides us only with the information needed to confirm and restore your purchase, in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. A record of whether Pro has been unlocked is stored locally on your device.
6. Local data on your device
Libella stores small preferences locally on your device (for example, your Pro unlock status and settings such as the sound toggle or entered hold height). This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if you uninstall the app or clear its data.
7. Permissions we may request
- Camera — required for the Angle and Ruler tools (live view only).
- Motion sensors — used by the Level and tilt features (no runtime permission required).
Libella requests permissions only when a feature needs them, and only uses them for that feature.
8. Children’s privacy
Libella is a general‑audience utility and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Because we do not collect personal data, no such data about children is gathered.
9. Data security
Because Libella processes measurements on your device and does not send personal data to any server, there is no personal data of yours held by us to be exposed.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
