Fall Detect watches the motion sensors in your phone and recognises the signature of a real fall. When it detects one, it starts a countdown you can cancel - and if you do not, it sends an SOS message with your exact location to the contacts you chose.

Good to know: Detection depends on how fast your phone reads its sensors. On low-cost devices the impact peak can fall between two readings, so manual SOS and the check-in timer stay available regardless.
